It’s a platform where emerging technologies, like OAK Networks and Polkadot, get an opportunity to demonstrate the role of blockchain technology in designing the future of our cities.

Who are you and what is your role with OAK Network? My name is Gabriel, I’m Oak Network Ambassador and family member.
Why did you think it was important for Oak Network and Polkadot to be promoted at the Smart City Conference? The conference is the second largest edition related to smart cities, with the current transition from web2 to web3, onchain automation is essential.
What was the message you tried to share with conference attendees about OAK and Polkadot? In the near future, where blockchains are a reality, the Oak Network is fundamental.
How did people receive that message? With a lot of surprise and curiosity, it is a relatively new world for them. But very excited about the possibilities listed in the presentations like; the possibilities to automate the financial structure of their companies and the possibility to create custom triggers.
What was the most important lesson you learned about the entire experience? Blockchain is a near reality worldwide
