Last month we submitted the following items for development and are excited to announce a series of upcoming upgrades to Turing Network, bringing several enhancements and improvements:
- Polkadot Code Upgrade: Turing Network’s Polkadot code has been upgraded to version 0.9.43. This upgrade aligns Turing Network with the Polkadot versions of Astar and Moonbeam.
- Turing Network Upgrade: Turing Network itself is undergoing a significant upgrade to version 2.1.0, with a corresponding runtime upgrade to 296. Please note that this upgrade will require an upgrade from all collator nodes.
- Improved Stability: We’ve addressed a syncing issue in Turing collator nodes. This fix resolves periodic process restart problems that occurred during the initial syncing.
- Library Enhancements: Our JavaScript libraries, oak.js, has undergone a major overhaul. Multiple packages within oak.js have been upgraded to align seamlessly with runtime 296, ensuring that developers have access to the latest features and improvements.
